Naugatuck Residents Sound Off on Snow Plowing
How have the roads in your neighborhood faired during the blizzard? Find out what your neighbors said on Facebook.

As of 7 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Connecticut has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought over a foot of snow to towns across New Haven County.
No travel ban was issued for Connecticut throughout the storm, but Governor Dannel Malloy warns residents to pay extra attention and caution while driving.

We asked Patch readers how they felt about the plowing done on their block. Here’s what you said:
- “No- Oak and Coen streets haven’t been touched.”
- “Not at all! Of course we live on a dead end off of May Street. They didn’t even touch it until late last night, and it still is snow covered.”
- “Our road would be better if people didn’t park in the road and didn’t put snow back in the road when they shovel their driveways after. The crew did a great job.”
- “Always a top notch job up in my neighborhood. The job of the plow is to make is passable and treat it, our job as the citizens is to make it pristine. You can’t expect them to be everywhere at once and you can’t expect them to work nonstop.”
- “Eh, mine’s a dead end with cars always parked on the road so they do what they can.”
- “Great job Naugatuck Public Works. Did a bunch of errands already across town, and the streets are wonderful.”
- “I really wish the plows wouldn’t plow the end of driveways in.”
- “The town did very well on my road. Almost nothing on it now and it’s a dead end.”
