Naugatuck Schools Assistant Business Manager Receives Raise
Superintendent recommended the raise after the manager was given more responsibilities.

Naugatuck Public Schools’ assistant business manager, Bernice Rizk, has been given an 18.7 percent salary increase over last year in the adopted fiscal year 2015-16 budget proposal, the one that could still face referendum, according to My Citizen’s News.
Rizk’s salary increased from last year’s $61,200 to this year’s $72,624, the News reports.
The increase was recommended by Superintendent of Schools, Sharon Locke, who told the News that Rizk was given many more responsibilities this year which prompted the raise.
