No.

Why are you seeking this office?
I am seeking reelection to continue the work that has been started by the Mayor and our team. there has been so much progress in town and i would like to see that continue so we have a vibrant community. As a former small business owner I support small businesses and hope to see more in our downtown and surrounding areas. As an educator my priority is always education and providing a fair and worthwhile education to all our youth.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Taxes will always be an issue with everyone but I believe with all the new industry and innovative ideas that the Mayor proposes will definitely alleviate some of the burden on the taxpayers. I would also like to see more businesses move into Naugatuck so the economy will improve with more local spending.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I think I have taken initiative in certain areas that will benefit the community. I want to continue my work with the Building Trades Training Institute establishing a collaboration where our students take part in a trades class leading to apprenticeships locally. I am involved in revitalizing the Senior Center to make it more vibrant. I enjoy spending time with many of the organizations I am also a liaison to, such as Naugatuck Day Care and Housing Authority. I am invested in Naugatuck and want to see it grow for future generations.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I think most importantly is continuing our work with the school system in providing alternate paths for our students leading to profitable and rewarding careers. We want the future generations to make Naugatuck their home.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
One major accomplishment is the the Trades Program at the High School Along with Burgess Gallo a successful program is in it's second year with more than 20 students taking part in the program. The are offered training which leads to apprenticeships. I also want to continue working with the Senior Center to make it the best for our seniors. I am on the Facade Committee which is helping business owners with upgrading their buildings through a cooperative grant. I am willing to take on projects and responsibilities that the Mayor feels I can be an integral part of.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
To just be me and do my best. Giving 100% is all we can ask.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Just to get out and vote and learn about the candidates running to make sure they are working for you and listening to you. I am always reachable and if I don't have the answer I will find it for you.
