Why are you seeking this office?

Always thought it was interesting to be involved in the government to see what input and value I could do to make things better.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:

Taxes are always an issue. The way to lower them is to grow the grand list. I have been part of the biggest development over the last few year to achieve the start of the goal to grow. Development of Parcel C, now the development of Parcels A & B, the new train station, the development of Industrial Park 3, the future development of the Naugatuck Industrial Rail Park, and there are many more great projects to follow

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have been fortunate to serve with a lot of good people with a lot of different views, I guess the difference is my experience and knowledge of being here so long. There is still a lot of great work to come. Running for my 15th term I've been involved in 30 sub-committees, chairman for most, My biggest accomplishment is Chairman for most of the capital projects that go on in Naugatuck, the largest project was the $81 million High School renovation project that was on time and under budget, being Chairman is gratification that we try to do things right and you also need fantastic people on the committee to be successful which I am thankful for.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Continue to move the town forward in a positive way.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Committees: Naugatuck Standing Building, Naugatuck High School Renovation, 5 yr Capital, Renewable Energy, Elderly Tax Exemption, Member Downtown Development Parcels A & B, Member of the Long Term School Building and Facilty Planning, Member Sports Complex, Memeber NEDC, Member of the Charter Revision, Liaison Park Dept and Finance Dept. Community service 30+ yrs, Naugatuck Soccer, Little Pal Basketball, UC Little League, 25+ yrs Senior Babe Ruth coach and President Housatonic Valley Senior Babe Ruth

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Stay true to yourself.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Please get out and vote Nov 4. Would love your vote so I continue to move Naugatuck forward, Neth 6B.
