Teen, 17, Found Shot Inside Waterbury Mall: Reports
The shooting occurred at the Brass Mill Center mall Friday evening, according to multiple published reports.

WATERBURY, CT — A person was shot in the food court area at the mall in Waterbury on Friday evening, according to media reports, including WTNH News 8.
NBC Connecticut reports that police are investigating a shooting at the Brass Mill Center mall and that a man was taken to a local hospital.
The shooting occurred at 5 p.m. and there are numerous police officers at the mall.

Fox 61 adds that it was an "isolated incident" and police say there is no threat to the public.
In an update, WFSB 3 TV reported that a 17-year-old was found shot in the food court and is in stable condition at a local hospital. The mall was closed Friday night but has since reopened on Saturday.
