Teen, 18, Charged In Gun Threat Incident In Naugatuck: Police
The victim told police that someone pulled a gun on him at a gas station, according to police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident in which a man was threatened at gunpoint at a gas station in Naugatuck last week, according to police.
Arlyn Williams, 18, of Naugatuck, was arrested Wednesday after turning himself in on an active warrant, according to police.
Williams was charged with first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, and two counts of criminal possession of a pistol / revolver. He was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond and arraigned at Waterbury Superior Court on Wednesday morning.

Police said an officer was flagged down around 12:15 a.m. on May 14 by a driver in a passing car who said someone just pulled a gun on him at a local gas station.
Police said they learned that the victim and suspect were known to each other.

“Police also learned that several individuals were in a vehicle that pulled up to the victim’s car,” police wrote in a news release. “One of the individuals got out, entered the victim’s car and pointed a handgun at the victim and threatened him. The other individuals remained in the vehicle. The suspect then returned to the vehicle he came in and fled the area.”
The investigation led to a house on Field Street where police located Ryan Rowe, 20, of Naugatuck, according to police. Rowe was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree and conspiracy to commit first-degree reckless endangerment.
Rowe was released after posting a $100,000 bond with a court date of May 28.
Williams was identified as the suspect and police obtained a warrant for his arrest.
