Waterbury Police Issue Advisory About Special Operation

WATERBURY, CT — Police issued an advisory Wednesday that there will be a police presence today in the area of Willow Street and Hillside Avenue.

The police department did not specify the nature of the operation.

It indicated it is part of its “ongoing efforts to address quality-of-life concerns with special operations.”

During the effort, residents also may notice a police helicopter in the area, police said in the Facebook post.

There is no threat or danger to the public, according to police.
