A local resident recently purchased a winning lottery ticket in Waterbury, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

WATERBURY, CT — An area resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket last week in Waterbury, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Friday, a Waterbury resident won $50,000 playing a "Keno" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Brass City Mini Market Deli Food LLC in Waterbury, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
