Annual Member Show Opens at the Carriage Barn Arts Center
Exhibition celebrating the range, interests and talents of 175 artist members
The 2024/25 season begins at the Carriage Barn Arts Center with the Annual Member Show, celebrating the range, interests, and talents of artist members working across all subjects, styles, and media. 175 artist members from Connecticut, New York and beyond are participating in the exhibition which includes painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture. Many of the pieces are available for sale.
Each year, one piece is awarded the Betty Barker Award and a $250 prize. The award was established in 2017 in honor of Betty Barker (1920-1997), a prolific and accomplished artist who was one of the driving forces in establishing the Carriage Barn Arts Center.
The exhibition is open through Sunday, October 6. There will be an artist talk in the gallery on Saturday, October 21 at 10:30am which is open to all.
