New York Times Bestseller and Oprah Book Club Pick Author Eric Puchner Headlines New Canaan Library’s Annual Spring Edition Fundraiser

New Canaan, Conn., [April 15, 2025] – New Canaan Library is delighted to welcome acclaimed author Eric Puchner as the keynote speaker for this year’s annual Spring Edition Author Talk & Lunch on Wednesday May 14th at 11am. Puchner will present his latest novel Dream State, an instant New York Times bestseller and an Oprah Book Club selection, following a lunch prepared by Marcia Selden Catering under a tent on the Library’s Anderson Terrace. Individual tickets for this special event are on sale now and benefit New Canaan Library’s Annual Fund.

Dream State is a shimmering Montana saga that serves both as a masterful love letter and an elegy to the American West. Touted as one of the best books of the year, Dream State represents the very best of “emotionally resonant, witty, insightful, funny, and heartbreaking” literary fiction.

Individual tickets are tax deductible and are on sale now at https://www.newcanaannewlibrary.org/spring-edition-2025 and include a hard cover copy of Dream State which may be picked up in advance at Elm Street Books. During the lunch, a one-week stay at a gorgeous home in Big Sky, MT will be up for auction.
