Art Due This Weekend - Students - Create Art That Matters!
Over 90 students from all over Fairfield County have registered! Register and submit your art by 11/3!!
ART DUE THIS WEEKEND!!! Stand Together Against Racism (S.T.A.R.), in partnership with The Glass House and the Carriage Barn Arts Center, is excited to invite you to our fourth annual Fairfield County Student Social Justice Art Showcase. This event celebrates how art, design, and architecture can inspire conversations about social justice.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? ALL students—from ANY town in Fairfield County, CT, including college students—are welcome! Share your creativity by submitting artwork that reflects a social justice topic that's important to you.
WHAT KIND OF ART CAN I SUBMIT? We welcome all forms of art, including paintings, drawings, and photography, mixed media and sculpture, videos (including TikTok-style) and even architectural designs. You can go small or go big!!
IMPORTANT DETAILS
This is a showcase, not a competition—every student’s artwork will be displayed!
When your art is ready, you'll need to give it a name and write a short description explaining what your art and social justice topic means to you. This will be displayed alongside your work in the gallery. Click here to get started! Drop off details are in the form
