Construction Begins On New Luxury Residential Development In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, CT — An official groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Quartier was held Friday in New Canaan with First Selectman Dionna Carlson in attendance.

According to a news release provided by William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty, representatives for Ventana LLC, rePLACE Urban Studio and William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty celebrated the start of construction on the luxury residential development at the corner of Cherry Street and Burtis Avenue.

"We're excited to welcome The Quartier to New Canaan," Carlson said in a news release. "This thoughtfully designed development will strengthen our local economy, support our businesses and enhance our vibrant downtown."

The elegantly designed community features 1-3-bedroom residences offering single-floor, duplex and townhome style living options with meticulously crafted residences priced from $2 to $6 million, according to the release.

The Sneddon Team of William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty is exclusively handling sales, and residences are now available for purchase.

"Friday's event marked an exciting milestone as we officially see construction beginning on this exceptional project," Jaime Sneddon of The Sneddon Team said in a news release. "The Quartier will set a new standard for luxury living while respecting the walkability and architectural character that make New Canaan special."

Developed by Ventana LLC and designed by award-winning architectural firm rePLACE Urban Studio, The Quartier is targeting Phase One homes to be released in the Fall of 2026.

Premium amenities include private gardens and terraces, two lobbies with full-time concierge, a fitness center, private elevators for penthouse units, and indoor parking, according to the release.

Residences feature luxury European cabinetry, quartz countertops, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, and sustainable features including EV charging stations.
