Free Film at New Canaan Playhouse

NEW CANAAN, CT - Cathy Kangas, CEO and Founder of PRAI Beauty in New Canaan, will sponsor a free showing of the documentary “At the Fork” at the New Canaan Playhouse on Thursday, September 22nd at 6:30 p.m. This powerful film explores how farm animals are mistreated as it grapples with the moral decisions that come with raising animals for food.

As a member of the board of directors of the Humane Society of the United States, Cathy believes that this film can have a major impact on legislation designed to change the flaws in our food system. Companies such as McDonalds and Whole Foods have already made significant improvements so that farm animals are treated more humanely.
