Homeowner Is Facing Fine for New Canaan Wetland Work: Report
Brush, trees apparently were moved from the property and fill was brought in.

The owner of a Gerrish Lane property reportedly is facing a $1,000 fine for allowing the dumping of fill and the removal of brush and trees from wetlands on the 1.14-acre property.
Workers hired by the owner of 128 Gerrish Ln. apparently drove construction equipment through the wetlands and dumped about 300 cubic yards of fill on about a third-acres of the property, according to The New Canaanite.
The Inland Wetlands Commission issued citations to the owner and the contractors who performed the work and is expected to review the matter at its Feb. 22 meeting, according to the New Canaanite story that can be found here.
