Jennifer Farber Dulos Vanished 6 Years Ago On Saturday
Her family has issued a new statement recognizing the anniversary.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Saturday marks the sixth anniversary of the disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos, the mother-of-five who vanished from her New Canaan home after driving her children to school.
Her body has not been found, and authorities believe she was murdered by her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos. He was charged with the crime, but never stood trial, because he took his own life in January 2020.
In a new statement from her family and longtime friend, Carrie Luft, honoring the anniversary, Jennifer, 50, is remembered for being a wonderful woman and mother.

She lives on in our hearts and through her five incredible children, now young adults, who have grown up without both parents. We miss her love, grace, and strength; her laughter, brilliance, and wisdom; her gentle voice and comforting presence.
In Jennifer’s honor, we encourage those who can do so to donate to community organizations that support survivors of family violence, such as Interval House Hartford, the Rose Brooks Center, and many others; as well as to groups such as the Black and Missing Foundation and Missing/Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives. These organizations—and the people they support—need your help now more than ever.
We remain deeply grateful to the Connecticut state’s attorney’s office and the Connecticut State Police for their ongoing commitment to finding Jennifer.
As we continue to mourn her loss, please respect the privacy of Jennifer’s children, family, and loved ones.
Thank you.
Authorities believe Fotis Dulos was assisted in the murder plot by his then girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, who was convicted in March 2024, and is serving a 14-and-a-half year prison sentence. Troconis is appealing the sentence.
The Duloses were in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody fight at the time of Jennifer's disappearance.
Law enforcement conducted extensive searches for Jennifer's remains, but have thus far come up empty. A probate judge officially declared her dead in the fall of 2023, more than four years after her disappearance.
A third person, Kent Mawhinney, a former friend of Fotis Dulos, is awaiting trial on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
