Evergreen Stamford invites seniors, caregivers and the local community to enjoy a free concert on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 2 to 3 pm. The concert features Barbara’s Serenade Acoustic Duet: multi-lingual singer Barbara Espinosa Occhino and guitar master Carmine Marino. They will put you in the spirit of the season with all your favorite holiday music. Bring your friends and enjoy a festive afternoon with hot chocolate and cookies in Evergreen’s remarkable senior activity studio.
This is the second concert in Evergreen’s Joy of Music series that brings performers from around the NY-Metro area to Stamford to entertain and engage its senior members.
Each day at Evergreen Daytime Senior Care, seniors experience creative, fun activities like karaoke, artistry or cooking club; entertainment like trivia, group games and virtual reality experiences; and, physical fitness activities such as chair boxing and tai chi. Delicious, nutritious meals and snacks are provided during the day. With the camaraderie of friends and a trained, experienced staff, seniors enjoy a full, 8-hour day which provides family caregivers with the freedom to focus on their other commitments. Convenient door-to-door transportation makes it easy for seniors to safely travel from home to Evergreen from Stamford, Darien, Greenwich and New Canaan.
