The event will feature best-selling author Jennifer Wallace in conversation with Kelly Corrigan, host of the popular podcast Kelly Corrigan Wonders. During the event, Wallace will share insights drawn from six years of research on how the concept of mattering—helping people feel seen, valued, and essential—supports well-being, resilience, and meaningful connection. Guided by Corrigan, the discussion will focus on practical strategies for incorporating mattering into daily life while navigating stress, burnout, and transitions.

“This is an uplifting evening that highlights the power of purpose and connection,” said Colleen Prostor, Executive Director of CARES. “We invite community members to join us for this special conversation and discover ways to strengthen relationships and support one another.”
