As the beloved matriarch of the large Huffard clan she inspired us with her intelligence, artistry, elegance, and above all, her enjoyment of all people and philosophies.
Born in Rutherford NJ, she fell in love with Phil Huffard, married, moved often, and settled in New Canaan in 1954 to raise their five children. Throughout her long and rich life she achieved great celebrity with her bronze and stone sculptures which enhance many art collections throughout the country. She taught us well and leaves all of us aspiring to be more like her.
