In Memoriam: Theodore A. Coppola

Theodore A. Coppola, 80, of New Canaan, passed away on December 11, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital with his loving family at his side.

Theodore was born on June 13, 1935 in Italy to the late John and Ida Borea Coppola.

Theodore graduated from Wright Technical School. He worked at Omega Engineering as well as working for the Wilton Historical Society. Theodore served as a Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves and was an avid tennis player.

In addition to Cynthia, his wife of 46 years, Theodore is survived by his son, Theodore A. Coppola Jr. and his wife Kristin of Norwalk, and three brothers, Anthony Coppola and his wife Donna of Hawthorne, NY, Alfredo Coppola and his wife Cathy of Stamford, and Vito Coppola and his wife Maureen of Prospect, CT. Also surviving Theodore is his grandson, Jack.

Visiting hours will be at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan, on Monday, December 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan, on Tuesday, December 15, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan.
