From New Canaan Country School: Toddlers and their parents searched for tadpoles at New Canaan Country School’s vernal pond as part of the Early Childhood Discovery Fair held on campus April 29. The Discovery Fair is a guided, hands-on exploration of scientific and artistic principles. In addition to the woods walk, activity stations included paper-making, paint mixology, clay & wire, transparent collage, an obstacle course, wood sculptures, wind tunnel, ramps and sensory tables. Open to the public, the next Discovery Fair will be held in the Fall.

The school is located on 75 acres, which includes 35 acres of woods, trails, ropes courses, vernal ponds and outdoor classrooms. For more information, please visit here.
