New Canaan Police Help Bondsman Arrest Bridgeport Woman

New Canaan Police news, Nov. 28 through Dec. 2.

 

Wailanitte Ortiz, 25, of Bridgeport was charged with failure to appear in the second degree after police helped a Bridgeport-based bail bondsman arrest her while she was at work at Wells Fargo Bank on Nov. 28 at 12:40 p.m.

Ortiz was released on $1,500 bond and given a Dec. 10 court date.

A 53-year-old New Canaan woman was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with a 911 call and violating a restraining order following a domestic incident on Dec. 2 at 10:45 p.m. The woman’s husband has a restraining order against her, and when she arrived at his residence, he attempted to call police. She interfered with that call.

The woman was held on $10,000 bond.
