New Canaan Recreation Summer Camp 2025 Registration To Open In March

NEW CANAAN, CT — Registration will open early next month for New Canaan Recreation's 2025 summer camp program, featuring a number of exciting new additions.

Open to all New Canaan children currently in grades K-5 for the 2024-2025 school year, summer camp registration will officially open March 3 at 9:30 a.m., according to the Parks and Recreation website.

Located at Waveny Park, summer camp in New Canaan offers "the perfect mix of supervised free play and engaging group activities tailored to various age groups," according to the website's description.

Each child who attends is placed in an age-appropriate group and paired with "a dedicated counselor who will build a meaningful connection with them throughout the summer."

Campers enjoy sports, games, team-building activities and arts and crafts, as well as weekly swimming every Thursday.

Additionally, "Pizza and Ice Cream Fridays" are included in each child's camp fee.

New features for 2025 include a summer cookout, "Westchester Circus," a petting zoo, cooking program and "Wet & Wild Day," according to the Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
