UPDATE: Another New Canaan School Announces Early Dismissal
With the snow storm, most schools in town are dismissing classes early.
*Editor’s note: This story has been updated to include dismissal times for St. Luke’s School.
With the snowy forecast, New Canaan schools announced there will be early dismissal of schools today, Monday, Feb. 8.
Here is the dismissal schedule:
- New Canaan High School: 11:30 a.m.
- Saxe: Grades 7-8: 11:30 a.m.
- Saxe: Grades 5-6: 12:20 p.m.
- South School: 12:15 p.m.
- East and West schools: 1:05 p.m.
- New Canaan Country Day: Dismissal will be at 11:30 a.m. Buses will depart at 11:45 a.m. All afternoon programs are cancelled.
- St. Luke’s School: Dismissal times will be staggered between 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Buses will depart at noon.
There hasn’t been any announcement from St. Aloysius School as of 10:30 a.m.
