New Canaan Waveny Summer Concerts 2024 Schedule Announced

NEW CANAAN, CT — Waveny Summer Concerts return later this month and will be held each week through early September.

According to the town's Facebook page, the free concerts will be held Wednesday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the lawn behind Waveny House, located at 677 South Avenue.

The concert series kicks off June 19, during which guests are invited to bring their friends and family "for an unforgettable evening under the stars."

The following schedule was provided by the town:

• June 19 - Kenn Morr (original folk rock)
• June 26 - Gunsmoke (country western)
• July 10 - Otis and the Hurricanes (New Orleans funk)
• July 17 - Doug Allen (singer/songwriter, acoustic pop)
• July 24 - Finster (70's to today's hits)
• July 31 - The Bookends (60's and 70's songs)
• Aug. 7 - Dreamin' (50's and 60's songs)
• Aug. 14 - Royal Kings (50's Doo Wop)
• Aug. 21 - Fairfield Counts Band (Miller, Dorsey, Goodman, big band)
• Aug. 28 - The Tom Duffy Band (80's to current rock)
• Sept. 4 - The Short Bus Band (70's songs to today's hits)
