Pet Pantry Warehouse Raised Thousands At New Canaan Event
The store hosted the 10th annual New Canaan Dog Days on May 4 and raised thousands of dollars.

From New Canaan Nature Center: New Canaan Dog Days presented by Pet Pantry Warehouse took place on Saturday, May 4 at the New Canaan Nature Center. Through sponsorships, vendor contributions, activity donations, and the inaugural Pet Pantry Paws Walk, the event raised fifteen thousand for their non-profit partners. Adopt-a-Dog and the New Canaan Nature Center.
"We're really pleased with this year's event", said Executive Vice President, Adam Jacobson. He continued, "For the first time the event was moved from our New Canaan store location to the New Canaan Nature Center making it possible for more families to attend. The move enabled us to offer more activities and entertainment for the community to enjoy. With the increase in attendees, we raised more money for our non-profit partners. We plan to continue growing this event each year".
This year's activities and special events started off with a Yappy Hour on April 26 at Gates Restaurant. The hugely popular Doggie Fun Zone returned for a second year and the Fur-tastic K-9's, a performance and stunt team from Texas, joined the fun. An animal communicator spoke with attendees in the tranquil Nature Center gazebo while other attending dogs got to do the Radar Run and have their speed clocked by a police officer. The kid zone had a face painter, caricature artist, and a bouncy house.
