The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook,” saying ”the potential exists for more than 8 inches of snow,” from Saturday night into Tuesday.

NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote in a blog post Thursday afternoon that as far as Sunday and Monday goes: “Several chances for snow, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the bulk of it held off until Monday. At this point all we can really say is ‘stay tuned’— we should know much more tomorrow.”

An active weather pattern brought three named winter storms since the beginning of last week, and a similar storm could be on its the way into early next week, according to The Weather Channel.
