Road Closures Announced For New Canaan Holiday Stroll Event
A section of two roads in New Canaan will be closed during the annual holiday event set to take place this week.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The town has announced a couple of upcoming road closures planned to take place Friday during New Canaan's annual Holiday Stroll event.
According to the town website, the one-way section of Elm Street will be closed to traffic Friday starting at 3 p.m.
Additionally, the section of South Avenue that runs from Elm Street to the Morse Court Driveway will be closed Friday starting at noon.

According to the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce website, the event will be held Dec. 5 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown New Canaan.
Guests are invited to walk under holiday lights, browse in stores, watch a show performed by young local talent, eat delicious food and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
