In a news release, Murphy's office says, "Startups have proven to be a driver of economic growth in the United States, creating approximately 3 million jobs each year."
Thursday is the first day for 5th and 6th graders participating in New Canaan Youth Field Hockey starting at 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 7th graders also practice from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Those looking to participate as referees for Fall soccer must attend a meeting and clinic Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Waveny. Referees must be 14 years of age or older and have prior soccer experience. Thursday is also the deadline for the online ordering process for New Canaan soccer players looking for a team.
