Schools and Day-Care Centers

Darien

• Darien Public Schools are delayed two hours.
• Holly Pond Nursery School at the Darien YMCA opens at 10 a.m.
• YWCA Darien/Norwalk will have a delayed opening at 9:45 a.m., according to a YW email.

New Canaan

• New Canaan Public Schools are delayed two hours.
• New Canaan Country School will open at 10:15 a.m.
• St. Luke’s School classes open at 9:30 a.m. The school is open for exams at 9:15 a.m.

Norwalk

• Norwalk Public Schools are delayed two hours.
• Happy Time Nursery School will open at 9:30 a.m.
• High Road Nursery School is delayed two hours.
• Marvin Children’s Center will open at 9:30 a.m.
• Parkway Christian Academy will open at 9:30 a.m.
• Norwalk YMCA’s SACC program will open at 9 a.m.
• Stepping Stones Museum for Children will open at 10 a.m., the Member Morning program is cancelled.
• Elli Lab School at Stepping Stones Museum for Children will open at 10 a.m.
• YWCA Darien/Norwalk will have a delayed opening at 9:45 a.m., according to a YW email.

Westport

• Westport Public Schools are delayed two hours.
• Landmark Preschool is delayed two hours.

Other Delays

Darien

• Darien Senior Center is delayed two hours.
• Darien YMCA youth programs will begin at 10 a.m.
• Lecture at the Southfield Center for Development, “Social Media, Sexting & Our Children: What Parents Need to Know” has been cancelled. “We are working with The Southfield Center for Development to reschedule for April or May....hopefully the weather will behave itself then!” the Center for Sexual Assault Crisis, Counseling and Education announced in an email.

Norwalk

• Ability Beyond is delayed two hours.
• Norwalk Senior Center is delayed two hours.
