163-Year-Old New Haven Department of Fire Service Promotes 7 To Ranks Of Battalion Chief, Fire Captain

NEW HAVEN, CT — Tuesday, the 163-year-old City of New Haven Department of Fire Service held a promotional ceremony where seven officers were promoted to the ranks of Battalion Chief and Fire Captain.

The ceremony included remarks from Mayor Justin Elicker, Fire Chief John Alston, Jr., NHFD Command Staff, New Haven Board of Fire Commissioners and others.

The administration of the oath of office and presentation of badges followed.
