NEW HAVEN, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?:
She initiated and organized Meals4Healers, an initiative to show gratitude to HCPs and support local restaurants, we are piloting a food delivery initiative with house staff who are home in isolation as well as those who are displaced due to COVID-19. One donation of $20 will cover one (1) fixed nutritious meal to these residents. This donation will cover the cost of a fixed meal, delivery, and tip.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
A great of example of a volunteer--someone who saw a need and spearheaded getting that need met.
