A New Haven resident won $50,000 on a Powerball ticket that was sold at Shoprite at 745 Foxon Road in New Haven, according to lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
