Seal Checks Out Mill River District
A seal was found on the streets of New Haven over the weekend.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Seals belong in the aquarium, right?
One certain seal had other ideas Sunday. It showed up in the Mill River district.

Police said they found the visiting seal at Chapel and East Streets. They called folks at the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, who contacted Mystic Aquarium to pick up the seal. Which it did.
No word on how or why it ended up in the Elm City.
