Tweed New Haven Worker Dies After 'Medical Emergency' Leading To Airport Vehicle Crash: HVN Manager

The man was transported to the hospital and passed away. No other individuals or vehicles were involved in the accident: airport manager.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A Tweed new Haven Airport worker suffered a medical emergency while driving an airport vehicle and later died at the hospital, an airport official posted to "X."

"I am deeply saddened to share that earlier this morning, an HVN team member was involved in an airport vehicle accident while on duty, currently believed to be the result of a medical emergency. He was transported to the hospital and passed away. No other individuals or vehicles were involved.

"Out of care for the team, members, family, and to respect their privacy, we are not releasing additional details. We appreciate the community's understanding and support.
