5 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Newington: Police

The NPD is still investigating the crash, which happened on Thanksgiving Eve.

NEWINGTON, CT — Local police are investigating a serious, multi-vehicle crash this week that closed a road and sent five people to the hospital.

According to the Newington Police Department, officers were called to Fenn Road in the area of Eagle Drive for a crash at about 7:44 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Police said the crash involved three vehicles and resulted in a section of Fenn Road being closed for several hours.

Five occupants of the vehicles were transported to local hospitals, police said.

Police did not release any victim information or information on the nature of the injuries.

The Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad is currently leading the investigation, which is
active and ongoing, police said.
