2 New London Residents Arrested In Groton Home Invasion Case: Police
Police said four people were arrested in connection to a home invasion and assault incident reported in Groton.
NEW LONDON, CT — Four people, including two New London residents, were arrested in connection to a home invasion and assault incident reported early Sunday morning in the city of Groton, according to police.
In a news release, City of Groton police said they received multiple 911 calls around 3:30 a.m. reporting an incident in which a person was beaten by a bat and a gun was displayed at an apartment within the Branford Manor complex.
As officers responded, they received additional information that an involved vehicle was leaving the area. Responding officers located the vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop, police said.

After further investigation, police identified the driver and passengers and "learned that they were involved in the physical assault," police said.
With assistance from Groton Town Police, officers also responded to an address where a victim who sustained injury as a result of the assault was located and transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, according to police.

Members of the City of Groton Detective Division also responded to collect evidence and process the scene, police said.
Bryon McClellan, 35, of New London, was arrested on charges of home invasion, second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and sixth-degree larceny.
Bryon McClellan was held on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court this week, according to police.
Shanice McClellan, 32, of Baltic, was arrested on charges of home invasion, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Shilo Noon, 40, of New London, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Keyonia Bell, 24, of Groton, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree breach of peace.

Police noted the investigation is ongoing at this time.
