Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. NEW LONDON, CT — A woman was found dead to the rear of 393 Williams St. in New London, police said. At 9:16 a.m. Tuesday, New London Police responded to the rear of 393 Williams St. for the report of an unresponsive person on the ground. Upon arrival, an unconscious and unresponsive female was located, police said. The female was subsequently pronounced deceased, police said. The woman was identified as Kelly Anne Lewis, a 56-year-old female, previously of Waterford, police said. The investigation remains active. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact New London Police Department's Detectives at 860-447-1481 or anonymous information can be submitted via the New London Tips 411 system by texting NLPDTip plus the information to Tip411 (847411).
