Archie Fest Continues - Benefit Concert for Jarrad "Archie" Dietz
The benefit concert will be held at the El N Gee Club

A group of friends and family of the late Jarrad Dietz will not be able to rest until their friend's gravesite is complete with a head stone.Â
Dietz, who was in a band, passed away in 2010, according to a report in The Day. His band mates were inspired by their fond memories of Dietz, who they call Archie, to organize a band jam and help the family raise money for a head stone.Â
Nine or more punk, hip hop, and rock bands are schedule to play at the benefit concert, which begins at 6 p.m. on Friday at El 'N Gee on Golden Street in New London.
The Archie Fest 2013 event page posted the following:Â
Archie Fest 2013 will continue where we left off back in 2010, celebrating the life of an amazing friend, family member, musician and artist. All money brought in will go straight to his family to be utilized as needed.
Jarrad "Archie" Dietz knew a lot of different people from different backgrounds and different interests. That theme is what Archiefest is all about. Coming together musically and personally.
