Bank Robbery Reported In New London, Suspect Charged: Police
Police said a woman has been charged in connection with the bank robbery.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon.
At 1:03 p.m., police responded to a call from Dime Bank, 668 Bank St. reporting a bank robbery. The bank reported that a female suspect, medium build, and wearing a hooded shirt, entered the bank, handed a teller a note and left with a sum of money.
Police responded and initiated a search. Detectives processed the scene, collected evidence, and interviewed witnesses.

Shortly after the incident, officers located the female suspect in a vehicle, police said. Laetitia Perry, 46, of no certain address was arrested without incident and charged with second-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.
