Crack Cocaine, Marijuana Seized From New London Residence

Police arrested Raymond Fuentes after reportedly finding 146 grams of crack cocaine in the Connecticut Avenue apartment.

New London police officers served a search and seizure warrant at 49 Connecticut Ave. #1, in New London, with assistance from the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics-East and the Connecticut Parole Fugitive Task Force.

During the Nov. 18 search, officers reportedly found 146 grams of crack cocaine, 22 grams of marijuana, narcotics related packaging materials and $2,202 in U.S. currency, according to a police report from New London Deputy Chief Peter Reichard.

Police arrested Raymond Fuentes, 34, of the above address, and charged him with the following:

  • Possession of narcotics greater than 4 ounces
  • Possession of narcotics with intent to sell
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Operating a drug factory

Fuentes was wanted by the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles on a Remand to Custody Order and an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court, police said.
