The New London Parks & Recreation Commission would like to invite the public to a presentation of “The Sandy Ground: Where Angels Play”. This is a non-profit foundation of the New Jersey State Firefighter’s State Association. Their goal is to build 26 playgrounds for the 26 victims of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, along the shores damaged by Hurricane Sandy.  New London has been chosen as a potential site for a memorial playground.
