Police Contact FBI After Receiving Threat to New London Schools
Two juveniles were arrested after the incident, which police said was a hoax.

Just prior to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, the New London Police Department’s school resource officer was notified of a possible threat to the New London school system.
According to Deputy Police Chief Peter Reichard, the SRO quickly located the source of the threatening message and the two juveniles allegedly responsible for the message.
“At this time both juveniles have been charged with the crime,” he said. “It has been determined to be a hoax and there is no connection to any terrorist groups.”
