Hispanic Alliance Announces Gala for Scholarship Winners

The Hispanic Alliance has announced their annual scholarship awards celebration and gala night for June 14. It will take place in the Crocker House ballroom as is the tradition from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. 

The gala offers a night for people to socialize and enjoy the Hispanic culture, the program is as follows: 

6:00 - 7:00 Cocktails and Entertainment.
7:00 - 7:30 Scholarships Awards
7:30 - 8:30 A Taste of Latin America Buffet Dinner
8:30 - 11:00 Desserts and Dancing to live band               

The organization's website says, "Noche de Gala brings the celebration of Hispanic culture to the community for an exciting evening of music, dancing, food and friendship. This evening presents us with the special opportunity to recognize the commitment and accomplishments of a select group of Latino youth in Southeastern Connecticut who are to be honored with our annual scholarship awards.

These awards represent an important part of the Hispanic Alliance mission, namely to support those who both reflect our present values and our hopes for the future of our entire community.
