Life Star Called to Middlefield Accident Over the Weekend
A New London man was issued an infraction after the accident, in which a man had to be extricated from his truck.

An accident on Route 66 in Middlefield on Sunday, Dec. 13, resulted in one person flown to the hospital by Life Star and three infractions issued to three people.
According to the Middletown Press, 63-year-old Stephen R. Miller of Wallingford was leaving the Agway parking lot in Middlefield.
His car was struck by a truck driven by New London resident Joaquin O. Moscosco, resulting in Miller’s Ford Ranger ending up on its side.

A second car struck Miller’s truck. The driver of the second car was Middletown resident William J. Pancoast.
The Middlefield Volunteer Fire Company members said they were on scene for two hours.

Miller was reportedly at fault for the accident, police said. All three drivers were issued infractions for various alleged offenses.
