Man Sentenced To Prison For Shootings In Groton, New London: Report
A man was sentenced in connection to a hookah lounge shooting in Groton and another shooting in New London, according to a report.
NEW LONDON, CT — A man was sentenced to three years in prison for two unrelated shootings in New London and Groton, according to The Day of New London.
Raashid N. Cox, 35, of New London, was sentenced Monday to 10 years suspended after three years and five years of probation. He had pleaded guilty to first-degree assault, attempted first-degree assault, and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm.

Cox was accused in a hookah lounge shooting in Groton in 2020. He was also accused of shooting two parked cars in New London last year.
