Motor Vehicle Stop In New London Results In Drug Charges
Reginald Hill of Groton is charged with possession and possession with intent to sell after New London Police found about eight and a half ounces of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Thursday.

A Groton man pulled over by New London Police for a motor vehicle violation on September 19 was scheduled to appear in court today to answer to far more serious charges.
Reginald Hill, 35, of 302 Shennecossett Road in Groton was stopped by New London Police at the intersection of Williams Street and Huntington Street at 8:19 p.m. on Thursday. During the stop, police found about eight and a half ounces of marijuana. Hill was arrested and charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Apparently he didn't come quietly either. Hill is also charged with interfering with an officer and assault on public safety personnel. He was held on a $25,000 bond pending his arraignment in court on September 20. Â
