New London Arrest Log

Arrests on July 8 and July 9

New London Deputy Chief of Police Marshall Segar said New London Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery in the area of 250 State Street. Officers were able to located and apprehend Anthony Council, 40, of 335 Broad Street, within one block of the incident.  Segar said Council confessed to the crime and is being held on $50,000.00 bond. Council was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, second-degree larceny

The following arrests were recorded at the New London Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty. 

Erin Quiles, 36, Tilley Street, July 8, prostitution, $1,000 non-surety bond.

Robert Brown, 48, no address, July 8, first-degree criminal trespassing, $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Rhdiah Munir, 38, 10 Lee Avenue, July 9, disorderly conduct, second-degree assault, risk of injury, $25,000 cash or surety bond.
