New London Education Foundation Establishes Anthony Bernoudy Memorial Fund

A New London educators' organization has started a memorial fund to assist the family of a Jennings School student who died on the Fourth of July.

The New London Education Foundation created the Anthony Bernoudy Memorial Fund to help the boy's family with final expenses. Bernoudy, 6, was reported missing on Thursday. Searchers later found that he had drowned at Greens Harbor Beach. 

Donations to the fund may be mailed to the New London Education Association, 134 Williams Street, New London, CT, 06320. Cash donations may be made at this address, and checks should be made out to the foundation with "Anthony Bernoudy Memorial Fund" written in the memo.

Bernoudy's funeral will take place on Thursday.
