New London Man Charged In Groton Woman's Death: Reports
A man is accused of striking a woman with a vehicle, then driving away, according to reports.
NEW LONDON, CT -- A New London man has been charged in the death of a Groton woman last year, according to NBC CT.
Courtney Walker, 25, is accused of striking Lindsay Mehler, 46, of Groton, in the Family Dollar Store parking lot at 48 Ocean Ave. in New Haven on June 21, 2024, then taking off. Walker allegedly was using Mehler's car to deliver drugs, The Day of New London reported.
Walker was charged with second-degree manslaughter among other charges.

Walker is facing a list of other charges in cases from other parts of the state, including Norwich and Hartford, according to NBC CT.
He has been imprisoned since June of last year.
