New London Police K9 Retires After Over 7 Years Of Service
The police dog will enjoy a "well-deserved and comfortable retirement in the care of her longtime handler," police said.

NEW LONDON, CT — The New London Police Department recently announced the retirement of police K9 Iris. The K9 had more than 7 years of service to the community.
"K9 Iris, a Belgian Malinois, dual certified in patrol and narcotics detection, has been an invaluable member of our department since joining in 2018," police said in a Facebook post. "During her career, K9 Iris has been instrumental in numerous successful operations."
Iris will enjoy a "well-deserved and comfortable retirement in the care of her longtime handler, Officer Seth Bolduc."
